ACE Brass in Recital

Picture
Chamber music is dynamic, vibrant and has been an essential element in music making throughout the ages. The intensity and intimacy of a brass concert that is up close and personal is stimulating and inspiring for the audience and musicians alike.

A brass trio is the most intimate of brass ensembles, which inspires new work and distinctive performances.

ACE Brass enlightens, entertains, enthrals and perhaps even disturb at times due to the infinite sonic palate of the Trumpet, French Horn and Trombone.

Crucial to the trio's success has been its diversity of repertoire and its members virtuosic skills as soloists.

The ensemble recognises that it is essential to inspire audiences from all over the country not only in the major cities of New Zealand. Regional touring is a key ingredient for the ensemble as they engage in bringing the brass from the back of the orchestra to the centre stage.
